Founder/CEO Carl "Blaksmif" Smith started a independent management company in 2005 called We Book Old School Hip Hop. His first client under his management were the legendary Master Gee, Wonder Mike of The Original Sugar Hill Gang with new member Hendogg taking place of Big Bank Hank.
The Original Sugar Hill Gang began touring worldwide performing to their 1979 hit songs "Rapper Delight" "Apache" and "Eighth Wonder" in which we became very successful by 2007, then other hip hop artists started to contact us for bookings too. Our roster grew and We Book Old School Hip Hop became an official independent booking agency.
Today
We Book Old School Hip Hop NOT only cater to Old School Hip Hop artists but we also book today’s artists of ALL genres of music worldwide.
